St Peter’s Anglican College Sport Recreation Centre

Castle Glazing delivered a major glazing scope for the new Sports Recreation Centre at St Peter’s Anglican College, forming a central part of the school’s continued campus expansion under its long-term Master Plan. Following our work on the Vocational Education Technology (VET) Hub and Senior Science Building, Castle Glazing again partnered on this latest stage to supply and install all external windows and doors for the new facility.

Delivered by Monarch Building Solutions, the Recreation Centre was designed with flexibility in mind, creating adaptable spaces that support learning and active recreation.

Castle Glazing ACT supplied and installed all external windows and doors, incorporating a range of high-performance systems including AWS 424 and 620 fixed windows, AWS 466 awning windows and AWS 52 Series doors.

The glazing package was selected for durability and long-term performance across both learning and sports environments.

To enhance thermal performance, Viridian Climatech glass was installed in conditioned areas such as classrooms and offices. For the courts, 13.52mm grey toughened laminated glass was used to deliver strength and consistency across the facility. Together, these glazing solutions create a resilient and energy-efficient centre that supports a wide range of student activities.

High Performance, On and Off the Court

Large custom laminated glass panels were selected for the multi-purpose court to meet the demanding requirements of high-impact sports environments. These panels deliver superior strength and safety while allowing ample natural light to fill the space.
